١. من نحن

«قرآن ديسكتوب» تطبيق مجاني لسطح المكتب، يُنشر باسم Quran Desktop — وهو اسم الناشر المسجَّل في متجر مايكروسوفت. المسؤول عن هذه السياسة وعن أي سؤال يتعلق بها يمكن مراسلته على: contact@quran-desktop.com.

٢. ما تغطيه هذه السياسة

تغطي هذه السياسة تطبيق «قرآن ديسكتوب» لويندوز — سواء ثبّتّه من متجر مايكروسوفت أو من المثبِّت المنشور على موقعنا؛ فالنسختان تتصرفان بالطريقة نفسها إلا في التحديثات كما هو مبيّن أدناه — وتغطي كذلك موقع quran-desktop.com نفسه.

ولا تغطي المواقع الخارجية التي قد يفتحها التطبيق في متصفحك حين تضغط رابطًا لمصادر المحتوى — مثل مجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف، أو qul.tarteel.ai — فلكل منها سياسته.

٣. ما لا نجمعه

هذه قائمة صريحة، لأن نفي الجمع أوضح من وصفه:

• لا اسم ولا بريد إلكتروني ولا حساب — لا يوجد في التطبيق نظام حسابات إطلاقًا.
• لا تحليلات استخدام ولا تقارير أعطال: لا يحتوي التطبيق على أي شيفرة تتبّع أو قياس من أي نوع، ولا يرسل شيئًا عمّا تفعله بداخله.
• لا معرّف جهاز ولا معرّف تثبيت ولا رقم مميِّز يُولِّده التطبيق أو يرسله.
• لا إعلانات، ولا معرّفات إعلانية، ولا بيع للبيانات ولا مشاركتها لأغراض تسويقية.
• لا وصول إلى جهات الاتصال أو الموقع الجغرافي أو الكاميرا أو الميكروفون، ولا إلى ملفاتك خارج مجلد التطبيق ومجلد الصور حين تحفظ صورة آية بنفسك.

٤. ما يُحفظ على جهازك

يحفظ التطبيق بياناته في مجلد واحد على جهازك: %APPDATA%\com.quran.desktop — ولا يُرسل أي مما فيه إلى أي خادم. وهو يضم:

• إعداداتك — المظهر، وطريقة العرض، واللغة، والقارئ والتفسير المختاران، وسرعة التلاوة، ودرجة التكبير.
• علاماتك المرجعية وما تكتبه عليها من ملاحظات.
• موضع القراءة والاستماع الأخير — آخر صفحة، وآخر سورة وآية، ليُستأنف من حيث توقّفت.
• الملفات التي نزّلتها — خطوط صفحات المصحف، وقواعد التفاسير ومعاني الكلمات، وتوقيتات القرّاء وملفات التلاوة الصوتية، مع سجل بحالة كل تنزيل.

وحين تحفظ صورة آية، تُكتب الصورة في مجلد Pictures\Quran على جهازك — وتُنشأ الصورة داخل التطبيق نفسه، دون رفعها إلى أي خدمة.

لحذف كل ذلك: أزل التطبيق من ويندوز ثم احذف المجلد أعلاه. (نسخة المتجر ونسخة المثبِّت تستخدمان المجلد نفسه، فلا تفقد علاماتك حين تنتقل من إحداهما إلى الأخرى.)

٥. اتصالات التطبيق بالإنترنت

هذه كل الاتصالات التي يجريها التطبيق، وهي كلها تنزيل ملفات — لا يرفع التطبيق شيئًا إلى أي خادم:

ماذا يرى الخادم في كل طلب؟

ما يراه أي خادم ويب حين تطلب منه ملفًا: عنوان IP الخاص باتصالك، ووقت الطلب، واسم الملف المطلوب، ونسخة التطبيق (يرسلها التطبيق في ترويسة الطلب بالصيغة quran-app/1.0.0). ويعني هذا — بصراحة — أن خادمنا يرى أي الموارد نزّلت، وأن طلب خط صفحة يدل على رقم الصفحة التي فُتحت. تُحفظ هذه الطلبات في سجلات الخادم المعتادة لدى مزوّد الاستضافة (Cloudflare) لأغراض التشغيل ومنع إساءة الاستخدام، ولا نستخدمها لبناء ملف عن أحد ولا للتعرف على شخص بعينه. أما خوادم التلاوات فسجلاتها تخضع لسياسات أصحابها.

وما لا يُرسل أبدًا

بحثك لا يغادر جهازك — البحث يجري محليًا في قاعدة بيانات مرفقة بالتطبيق. وكذلك علاماتك المرجعية وملاحظاتها، وموضع قراءتك، وإعداداتك، والصور التي تحفظها، وأي نص تنسخه أو تشاركه: لا شيء من ذلك يُرسل إلى أي خادم، لا لنا ولا لغيرنا.

٦. إن ثبّتّ التطبيق من متجر مايكروسوفت

فإن مايكروسوفت — بصفتها الموزِّع — تجمع بياناتها الخاصة عن التثبيت والاستخدام وفق بيان خصوصية مايكروسوفت، وهو أمر خارج عن سيطرتنا. والذي يصلنا منها إحصاءات مجمّعة ومجهولة الهوية في لوحة الناشر (عدد التثبيتات، والتقييمات، وتقارير أعطال مجمّعة) — لا تُعرِّف شخصًا بعينه، ولا نتلقى منها أي بيانات شخصية.

٧. هذا الموقع

• إحصاء الزيارات — نستخدم Umami، وهي أداة تحليلات مجمّعة بلا كوكيز ولا تتبّع عبر المواقع ولا ملفات شخصية للزائر. تسجّل الصفحة المزارة، وضغطات زر التحميل، ومعلومات عامة كالمتصفح والبلد. يمكنك منعها بأي حاجب للنصوص البرمجية دون أن يتأثر شيء في الصفحة.
• نموذج التواصل — حين ترسل رسالة، يصلنا ما كتبته: الاسم، والبريد الإلكتروني، ونوع الرسالة، ونصها. تُسلَّم عبر خدمة Web3Forms إلى بريدنا، وتُستخدم للرد عليك فقط؛ لا تُضاف إلى قائمة بريدية ولا تُشارك مع أحد. اطلب حذف رسالتك متى شئت.
• تخزين المتصفح — نحفظ في متصفحك اختيارك للوضع الليلي ولغة هذه الصفحة. لا يغادر ذلك جهازك ولا يصلنا.
• الاستضافة — الموقع وملفات التنزيل على Cloudflare، بسجلات خادم معتادة كما سبق.

٨. الأطفال

التطبيق مناسب لكل الأعمار، ولا يجمع بيانات من أحد — بمن في ذلك من هم دون الثالثة عشرة. لا يوجد فيه حسابات ولا محتوى ينشئه المستخدمون ولا تواصل بين المستخدمين.

٩. حقوقك وخياراتك

• الحذف — بياناتك في التطبيق على جهازك، وحذفها بيدك وحدك: أزل التطبيق واحذف مجلده.
• قطع الاتصال — بعد التنزيل الأول يمكنك منع التطبيق من الشبكة تمامًا؛ سيظل كل شيء يعمل عدا تنزيل موارد جديدة والتحقق من التحديثات.
• الاطلاع والتصحيح والحذف — إن كنت في الاتحاد الأوروبي أو المملكة المتحدة أو كاليفورنيا أو غيرها مما يمنحك هذه الحقوق: البيانات الوحيدة التي قد تكون لدينا عنك هي رسالتك إن راسلتنا. اكتب إلينا نحذفها.
• لا بيع ولا مشاركة — لا نبيع بيانات ولا نشاركها لأغراض إعلانية أو تسويقية. ولا نملك ما نبيعه أصلًا.

١٠. الجهات الخارجية

الجهات التي قد تمر بها بياناتك — وهي في كل حال طلب ملف أو رسالة أرسلتها بنفسك:

• Cloudflare — استضافة الموقع وملفات التنزيل.
• Microsoft — توزيع نسخة المتجر وتحديثها.
• Umami — إحصاء زيارات الموقع.
• Web3Forms — تسليم رسائل نموذج التواصل.
• Tarteel وQuranicAudio — استضافة ملفات التلاوة التي تنزّلها.

١١. تغييرات هذه السياسة

إن تغيّر ما يفعله التطبيق أو الموقع، حدّثنا هذه الصفحة وغيّرنا تاريخ آخر تحديث أعلاها. والتغيير الجوهري — كإضافة أي جمع للبيانات لا وجود له اليوم — سيُذكر هنا صراحة لا في صياغة عامة.

1. Who we are

Quran Desktop (قرآن ديسكتوب) is a free desktop app, developed and published by Quran Desktop — the publisher registered on the Microsoft Store. The person responsible for this policy, and for any question about it, can be reached at contact@quran-desktop.com.

2. What this policy covers

It covers the Quran Desktop app for Windows — whether you installed it from the Microsoft Store or from the installer published on our site; the two behave identically except for updates, as described below — and it covers quran-desktop.com itself.

It does not cover external sites the app may open in your browser when you click a link to a content source, such as the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex or qul.tarteel.ai. Those have their own policies.

3. What we do not collect

An explicit list, because stating what is absent is clearer than describing what is gathered:

• No name, no email, no account — the app has no account system whatsoever.
• No usage analytics and no crash reporting: the app contains no tracking or measurement code of any kind, and sends nothing about what you do inside it.
• No device identifier, no install identifier, no unique number generated or transmitted by the app.
• No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no sale of data and no sharing of it for marketing purposes.
• No access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone, and none to your files outside the app's own folder and the Pictures folder when you yourself save an ayah image.

4. What is stored on your device

The app keeps its data in a single folder on your computer, %APPDATA%\com.quran.desktop, and none of it is sent to any server. It holds:

• Your settings — theme, view mode, language, the selected reciter and tafsir, playback speed, zoom level.
• Your bookmarks and any notes you write on them.
• Your last reading and listening position — the last page, surah and ayah, so you resume where you stopped.
• The files you downloaded — Mushaf page fonts, tafsir and word-meaning databases, reciter timings and recitation audio, along with a record of each download's state.

When you save an ayah image, the image is written to Pictures\Quran on your computer — the picture is drawn inside the app itself and is never uploaded to any service.

To delete all of it: uninstall the app from Windows, then delete that folder. (The Store build and the installer build use the same folder, so you keep your bookmarks when moving from one to the other.)

5. The app's network connections

These are all the connections the app makes. Every one of them is a file download — the app uploads nothing to any server.

What the server sees in each request

What any web server sees when you ask it for a file: your connection's IP address, the time, the name of the file requested, and the app version (the app sends it in the request header, in the form quran-app/1.0.0). Plainly put, that means our server can see which resources you downloaded, and a page-font request indicates which Mushaf page was opened. These requests are kept in ordinary server logs at our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for operations and abuse prevention; we do not use them to build a profile of anyone or to identify an individual. The recitation servers keep their own logs under their own policies.

What is never sent

Your searches never leave your device — search runs locally against a database shipped with the app. The same is true of your bookmarks and their notes, your reading position, your settings, the images you save, and any text you copy or share: none of it is transmitted to any server, ours or anyone else's.

6. If you installed from the Microsoft Store

Microsoft, as the distributor, collects its own data about installation and usage under the Microsoft Privacy Statement, which is outside our control. What reaches us is aggregate, anonymised statistics in the publisher dashboard (install counts, ratings, aggregate crash reports) — nothing that identifies an individual, and no personal data.

7. This website

• Visitor statistics — we use Umami, an aggregate analytics tool with no cookies, no cross-site tracking and no per-visitor profiles. It records the page visited, clicks on the download button, and general information such as browser and country. Any script blocker stops it, and nothing on the page breaks.
• The contact form — when you send a message we receive what you typed: your name, email address, message type and text. It is delivered through Web3Forms to our email and used only to reply to you; it is not added to a mailing list and not shared with anyone. Ask us to delete it at any time.
• Browser storage — we store your dark mode choice and this page's language in your browser. Neither leaves your device or reaches us.
• Hosting — the site and the download files are on Cloudflare, with the ordinary server logs described above.

8. Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects data from no one, including anyone under 13. It has no accounts, no user-generated content and no communication between users.

9. Your rights and choices

• Deletion — your app data is on your device, and deleting it is entirely in your hands: uninstall the app and delete its folder.
• Going offline — after the first download you can block the app from the network completely; everything keeps working except downloading new resources and checking for updates.
• Access, correction and erasure — if you are in the EU, the UK, California or anywhere else granting you these rights: the only data we could hold about you is your message, if you wrote to us. Email us and we will delete it.
• No sale, no sharing — we do not sell data and do not share it for advertising or marketing. We have nothing to sell in the first place.

10. Third parties

The parties your data may pass through — in every case either a file request or a message you sent yourself:

• Cloudflare — hosting for the site and the download files.
• Microsoft — distribution and updating of the Store build.
• Umami — website visitor statistics.
• Web3Forms — delivery of contact form messages.
• Tarteel and QuranicAudio — hosting for the recitation files you download.

11. Changes to this policy

If what the app or the site does changes, we update this page and change the date at the top of it. A material change — such as adding any data collection that does not exist today — will be stated here explicitly, not buried in general wording.
